DR HEND SHEHATA
Dr. Hend is a dedicated general practitioner at Latrobe Family Medical Practice with a passion for holistic healthcare! Originally from Egypt, Dr. Hend completed her medical degree and went on to gain valuable experience in emergency medicine, women's health, psychiatry, and children's health at Northwest Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital in Tasmania.
Since moving to the community in 2017, she has truly embraced her new home and is currently pursuing a diploma in women's health to enhance her expertise in this vital area.
Dr. Hend has a special focus on women's reproductive healthcare, pediatric care, geriatric health, and chronic disease management. She is dedicated to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient. Whether it's Implanon insertion and removal, menopause management, or support for adolescent health, she is committed to your well-being.
When she is not at work, you might spot Dr. Hend out and about in the community, enjoying time with her husband and little boy.
